This is the Terms Of Service for Caddy Shack Lawn Care

 

GENERAL TERMS OF SERVICE

Service Cancellation Policy: We do require two consecutive services prior to canceling the service completely. If you fail to meet the minimum service requirement prior to cancellation, your account will be charged a $50 cancellation fee.

 

Single Visit Cancellation Policy: If you wish to cancel a single visit, we do require a written notice no later than a day before that scheduled visit. If you cancel a single service the day of a scheduled visit, your account will be charged a $25 cancellation fee. Please note that if you cancel a single visit, there is a chance that your property will be overgrown on the following visit. If you do cancel a single visit, and your property is overgrown on the following visit, the overgrown fee will apply for that visit. 

 

Invoicing: For the convenience of both parties (yourself and our company), we require all customers to have a card on file (which will be prompted upon estimate approval). There will be a credit card fee added to each invoice to ensure we can continue to offer this convenience. This credit card fee is 2.9% + $0.30 (roughly 3%).  

 

 

LAWN MOWING

Service Frequency: Our default lawn mowing line-item service frequency will reflect a weekly mowing service. Weekly mowing is required May-August.

Overgrown Fee: If your lawn needs to be mowed, edged, and/or trimmed more than once on the initial visit, your lawn will be considered overgrown. The overgrown fee is equal to the amount of your lawn mowing line-item price. For example, if your lawn mowing service is $60 + sales tax, the overgrown fee would be an additional $60 + sales tax. NOTE: In the instance that your lawn is drastically overgrown, it might take 2 services for us to ensure your property is in a maintained state.  *If your grass is taller than 2ft in height, we might not be able to service your lawn due to equipment limitations. If this occurs, we will be sure to communicate this with you and offer you a quote for brush hogging*

 

Excessive Pet Waste Fee: If our crew notices that you have excessive pet waste on your lawn mowing visits, we will notify you. Pet waste fee is $15

 

Unable to Service a Portion of Your Lawn: If our crew comes to your property and is unable to service a portion of your property (gate being locked, pets outside, etc.), we will only service the areas in which we can access. You will still be charged full price for this visit. The reason for the full price is due to the un-serviced area of your lawn being longer on our next scheduled visit, which leads to our crew spending more time on your property on the following service.

 

 

FLOWER BED, LANDSCAPING, AND/OR PROPERTY CLEANUP:

For landscaping / flower bed quotes, the quote total includes the cost of all labor, materials, and sales tax. If the quote total is more than $1,000, a 50% deposit is required to reserve your place on our schedule. If the job is canceled no later than 24 hours of the service date, this 50% deposit is refundable. However, we purchase the materials needed for a project within 24 hours of the service date. Therefore, if a cancellation is made after these materials have been purchased, the deposit will not be refundable.

WINTER SERVICES

All mowing customers are signed up for our "Winter Services" schedule unless our admin is contacted to be opted out.
